FMCG ad insertions up 3% in first half of 2019 compared to last year: TAM Adex
Auto sector has seen a decline of 5% from January to July compared to the same time in the previous year, as per TAM Adex data
The three sectors of Auto, FMCG and Services have not see a great growth in ad insertions on Television, Print and Radio, as per latest TAM Adex data.
The economic slowdown has affected their sales but the interest in ad insertions across media hasn’t seen too much of a decline.
The auto sector, which is suffering this year, did see a decline of 5% from January to July compared to the same time the previous year. Services too saw a decline of 3% from the previous year. However, FMCG has managed to get a 3% boost in ad insertions in the first half of this year.
If we talk about YOY growth, 2018 was a great year for all these three sectors. The auto sector had seen 12% growth from 2017 while services saw 21% hike in ad insertions across Television, Print and Radio.
