Deepak Lamba quits Bloomberg UTV
Deepak Lamba quits as the Business Head of Bloomberg UTV after a stint of two years. He will be joining a media conglomerate with a larger role
Deepak Lamba has quit as the Business Head of English business news channel, Bloomberg UTV. He had joined the channel in January 2010.
Although Lamba did not reveal where he will be heading next, he shared, “I am going to be in the media space and will be joining a media conglomerate with a larger role. I will share further details in May.”
Commenting on his exit, he said, “Working with Bloomberg UTV has been a good experience. I worked closely with Ronnie Screwvala and MK Anand. Coming from the entertainment space to news business was very challenging but it was good to work with everyone in the channel.”
Lamba completed his MBA from the Pune University, starting his career with Hungama.com where he spent more than four years. He then went on to work as the Director of Viacom Brand Solutions and worked with MTV India for six and half years.
