Dainik Swadesh to re-launch in Jabalpur
A thirty year old Hindi newspaper of Madhya Pradesh, Dainik Swadesh, is all set the re-launch its Jabalpur edition on November 1, 2010. With this re-launch, the Jabalpur edition of the newspaper will also celebrate its 22nd anniversary.
A thirty year old Hindi newspaper of Madhya Pradesh, Dainik Swadesh, is all set to re-launch its Jabalpur edition on November 1, 2010. With this re-launch, the Jabalpur edition of the newspaper will also celebrate its 22nd anniversary. This re-launch will take the newspaper through the content, design and layout changes; however, the cover price of the newspaper remains same at Rs 1.50.
With this development the readers of the newspaper will get to read more pages with slight changes in the content part as well. Speaking on this development, Akshat Sharma, Managing Editor, said, “We are set to re-launch our all products in the various markets and this is a part of that line of developments. Before this, we had re-launched our Bhopal edition and we had got good responses on that.”
The group has set a new printing machine in Bhopal in the month of July this year to re-launch Bhopal edition. The newspaper is zeroing-in the local market of the Jabalpur for the ad revenue. “We are focusing more on the local and private advertisers. We would like to target small advertisers also in the region,” added Sharma.
Apart from Madhya Pradesh (MP) market, Dainik Swadesh is available in Chattisgarh and Nagpur (Vidarbha) regions too. While in MP it has total three editions, in Chattisgarh and Vidarbha it has got two and one editions, respectively.
