Zee Media receives update on warrant conversion from FPIs

Zee Media Corporation Limited has informed stock exchanges that it has received communication from three Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) stating that they do not intend to exercise their option to convert outstanding warrants. According to a regulatory filing, the investors conveyed their decision not to proceed with the conversion.
The company had earlier issued 13,33,33,333 fully convertible warrants on a preferential basis at Rs 15 per warrant, aggregating to about Rs 200 crore. The warrants were allotted to UNICO Global Opportunities Fund Limited, Ebisu Global Opportunities Fund Limited and AL Maha Investment Fund PCC - Onyx Strategy.
In its latest update, Zee Media said all three investors have conveyed their decision not to exercise the conversion option, which was due on or before 7 May 2026.
