RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that the Sangh has formed an informal group to come up with ways that curb the "cultural pollution" brought about by the influence of content on OTT platforms.
According to Bhagwat, OTT content has been the "driver of moral corruption", media networks reported him as saying.
Reports citing sources said the RSS group has members who have been associated with the Sangh as 'pracharaks' of education and culture.
The proposal will be submitted to the Union Ministry of Culture and other stakeholders in the central government, Bhagwat was quoted as saying by reports. He has called for a body akin to the censor group.
Earlier in his Vijayadashami address, Bhagwat had brought up this issue and the need to address OTT content.
Reports quoting RSS sources said the move to form the panel was based on feedback from a Sangh activity that seeks to revive traditional family values.
