The third edition of the exchange4media Conclave – South. The Conclave - co-powered by Colors and TikTok Ads, MM TV as Co-Gold Sponsor and Indian Express Digital as the Lanyard Partner - is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2019, and will be held at Taj MG Road, Bangalore. The theme of the Conclave this year is Brands & Consumers: The New Connections.

The Keynote Address will be delivered by Navinn Seksaria, MD, J.G. Hosiery Pvt Ltd (Macho & Amul Innerwear). With over two decades of experience, Seksaria jointly heads J.G. Hosiery – the largest manufacturer of men’s hosiery in the country with brands like Macho, Amul Comfy & Sporto under its umbrella. He is credited with building brands - Macho, Amul Comfy - to becoming the indisputable leaders in their categories and also bringing global expertise and vision to an unorganised industry. Seksaria will be speaking on the topic: ‘Engagement is the Key to Excitement’.

Delivery the second Keynote Address will be Satya Prabhakar, Founder & CEO, Sulekha. An Indian/American entrepreneur, engineer and writer, Prabhakar heads Sulekha - a digital mobile platform for expert services in India, matching 24+ million consumers per month with 120,000+ service professionals across 200 categories in about 40 cities. He has nearly 20 years of professional experience in various technical, business development, strategy and general management roles at TCS India, Philips N.V., Honeywell and AT&T in the areas of databases, real-time operating systems, Interactive TV, Internet access, hosting and interactive services. Prabhakar will be speaking on the topic: ‘Connecting with the Empowered Consumer.’

A visionary and an able business administrator, Dr A. Velumani, Creator, Thyrocare is our Valedictory Speaker. A firm believer in the thought that, "Focus gives Success, Velumani was born to a landless farmer in a small village near Coimbatore, South India. Today, he owns and operates Thyrocare, an industry leader and a brand worth over Rs. 3,000 crores. He is also MD of Nueclear Healthcare Limited which is a Radiology vertical. His focus areas are Thyroid Biochemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry and Nuclear Medicine. He will speak on the topic: ‘Brand Around a Gland’.

Our esteemed speaker for the Special Address is Anuj Rustagi, COO, Chocolates, Coffee, Confectionary and New Category Development, Foods Division, ITC Ltd. Rustagi joined ITC as Chief Operating Officer for the Chocolates, Coffee, Confectionary cluster of the Foods Business on October 1, 2017. Currently, he also heads the New Category Development Segment of the Business. Prior to joining ITC, he was a global brand director at Unilever Plc, London. In his two-decade stint at Unilever, Anuj has held various regional and global leadership positions in marketing & sales in the Foods and Personal Care businesses of the company. Rustagi will be speaking on the topic: ‘Creating Joy And Amazing Customer Experiences Through Intuition, Instinct, Insight…And Data!’

Also sharing his insights in a Special Address is Bhaskar Choudhuri, CMO, Lenovo APAC. Choudhuri is a passionate marketer with a zest for reinvigorating brands. An IIM-B graduate, he is an ardent believer in nurturing teams and creating future leaders. With 20 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, Choudhuri has successfully launched new brands and believes in developing an ideal ecosystem of agencies to garner increased impact. He relies on creativity to overcome constraints and deliver results. At Lenovo, Choudhuri has been leading the marketing operations across PCs, Tablets, and smart IoT solutions. Choudhuri will speak on the topic: ‘Consumer Journey – A Labyrinth’.

As the CEO of Zivame, Amisha Jain has always been extremely passionate about building ‘innovation-led’ consumer-centric brands. She is now leading the fastest growing women's organization for intimate wear and is all set to catapult the business to greater heights. She is a firm believer of “One Team, One Voice”. And this has been her foundation to build teams that are all individually strong and collectively effective at delivering business results. An alumna of INSEAD and Mckinsey, she has had over 16 years of experience in technology, consumer and retail sectors. Prior to joining Zivame, Jain was heading the Arvind Sports Lifestyle business and the Digital Centre of Excellence for the Arvind Group. Through the course of her career, she has been leading the growth and transformation initiatives for various multinational consumer goods, and apparel brands. She will share her insights on the topic: ‘Build, Partner, Acquire, Repeat!’

Also taking to the stage is Sachin Sharma, Director of Sales and Partnerships at ByteDance India where he leads strategic sales and brand partnerships for TikTok. With over 15 years of experience specialising in leading digital marketing functions, Sharma is passionate about working with and mapping out business growth opportunities for disruptive consumer brands. He most recently led Marketing Solutions for LinkedIn in India, where he was responsible for the mid-market and SMB portfolio. Prior to LinkedIn, Sharma was instrumental in leading owned growth and success pillars for Airbnb India where he spearheaded Operations for host success and led the supply-side partnerships for the brand in India. Sharma has previously also worked with organisations such as Google and Genpact during the course of his career. He will speak on the topic: ‘Democratizing Creativity.’

And rounding up the list of speakers is Abhishek Goenka, CEO of the RMZ Family Office and the CEO at CoWrks. He is also the CIO at CoWrks Foundry. Previously, Goenka has worked with PwC and BMR, and in both firms, he has been actively engaged in advising families in setting up a governance framework and also on succession planning. He has also assisted promoters of some of the largest listed companies in Bangalore in moving to a Trust holding structure, including dealing with cross border issues. Goenka is well versed with the various operating models of single and multi-family offices. He is also known for his domain expertise in real estate and Prop-Tech. Goenka will speak on the topic: ‘Understanding The New Consumer & Connection’.
