With a career spanning more than two and a half decades, Khanchandani has consistently been at the forefront of change across television, digital distribution, and advertising-led content ecosystems.
As Vikas Khanchandani celebrates the beginning of his 51st year on March 8, we look at his journey in India’s broadcast industry and his valuable contributions to the sector.
Today, as Co-founder and Director at eSENDIT and Strategic Advisor at MiQ, Khanchandani is focused on shaping the next phase of media convergence, where technology, data, and distribution increasingly determine how audiences consume content. At eSENDIT, he is working on building cloud-based solutions that streamline the delivery and distribution of premium digital content, while also exploring new monetisation pathways in the rapidly expanding FAST and AVOD ecosystems.
He is also an advisor to Enter10 Television, founded by Manish Singhal and now led by his son Akshat Singhal. Khanchandani has been a strong voice in the growth of Dangal TV, Enter10 TV and the Enter10 Network.
His work around the FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) landscape through DistroScale reflects a broader vision of making premium content accessible across screens while enabling advertisers to tap into scalable, data-driven video environments. As streaming consumption grows globally, Khanchandani’s efforts are aligned with building infrastructure that supports both reach and monetisation for content creators and broadcasters.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Khanchandani served as CEO of Republic TV, where he oversaw the network’s business expansion and helped strengthen its position in the competitive television news ecosystem. His leadership there focused on scaling distribution, driving revenue growth, and building stronger advertiser partnerships.
Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Reliance Broadcast Network and NDTV Media, where he played a key role in business development, strategic alliances, and expanding digital capabilities during a time when traditional broadcasters were beginning to recalibrate for a digital-first future.
Over the years, Khanchandani has also been associated with organisations such as Star India and Aidem Ventures, experiences that helped shape his understanding of India’s complex media distribution and advertising landscape. These roles allowed him to build deep expertise across broadcast, digital platforms, and revenue strategy with knowledge that continues to inform his current work in digital content distribution and advertising technology.
His wife, Pia, is the founder of eSendIt, a Cloud-based creative logistics platform.
