Senior journalist Ram Mohan Sharma has resigned from Zee News.
Sharma has been associated with Zee Media for nearly 12 years, anchoring prime-time debate shows for channels like Zee Madhya Pradesh/Chhattisgarh and Zee Uttar Pradesh/ Uttarakhand. For the past three years, he had been working with Zee News.
In a conversation with Samachar4Media, Sharma confirmed his departure. When asked about his next move, Sharma said he will soon take up a new role with another organization, though he did not disclose the name.
Sharma has over 14 years of experience in anchoring. He has previously worked with news outlets such as India News, ETV, and News18. Sharma’s coverage of major events such as the Vyapam scam, Mandsaur farmers’ shooting, Bhind EVM allegations, the Bikru murder case in Uttar Pradesh, and the Sidhu Moosewala killing has been widely appreciated. He has also covered extensive political reporting.
In addition, Sharma received recognition at the Exchange4Media News Broadcasting Awards (ENBA) 2021-22 for the shows he hosted.
