News18 Exit Poll

As the political battle for the most fiercely contested General Elections draws to a close, News18 Network with IPSOS as research partner will present the largest Exit Poll to its viewers.

IPSOS is a French research and consulting firm credited for predicting right some of the global political events like Brexit, and German and US elections. Keeping up with the commitment of bringing the most credible and accurate poll survey of the hard-fought and closely-watched elections, News18 Network and IPSOS will decode voting patterns and project likely results with coherent statistics.

Commenting on the programming for Exit Polls, Basant Dhawan, CEO, English and Business News Cluster, Network18 says, “The real action will begin after the last phase of polling. Our channels will start broadcasting the poll results immediately after the polling is over. We can comfortably call it the largest poll survey considering that our network reaches out to 26 states of the country through 20 news channels. We take credit to have brought the fastest and most precise data trend during Bihar, Gujarat, and Karnataka assembly elections and we aim to raise the bar even higher.”

News18 Network has planned and invested in technology to enable a superior news viewing experience on the counting day as well. “We have deployed magic wall. It is an AI-driven proprietary technology of News18 that will analyze real-time data from counting centers, throw up numbers about the leads and trail much ahead of our competitors, taking the channel to a different level in terms of reportage. The Magic Wall is a product for the evolved viewer”, added Basant.
