Nat Geo all set to enter ‘Inside IPL 6’

With the Season 6 of Indian Premier League (IPL) set to hit the screens from April 3, 2013, National Geographic is planning to come up with a new show ‘Inside IPL’. The special series will reveal the facts behind the massive machinery of the Pepsi Indian Premier League.
With more than a hundred million spectators and TV viewers, the Pepsi IPL 2013 will bring cricket, business and entertainment together to create an exciting concoction that will have Indians and the cricketing world at large, captivated. From the organisation and preparations for the Pepsi IPL 2013, to its execution, management, broadcast, players and fans, ‘Inside IPL’ will give viewers a never-before peek into the making and shaping of India’s largest annual sporting spectacle.
Speaking about the series, Keertan Adyanthaya, Managing Director, National Geographic Network and Fox International Channels India said, “IPL is more than just a cricket tournament, with hundreds of millions of people and billions of rupees being involved.
