Lokmat announces jury for Maharashtrian of the Year Awards 2025

This year’s jury comprises leaders from politics, business, law, healthcare, arts, and sports, bringing a wealth of expertise to the selection process

Lokmat Media Group has unveiled the distinguished jury panel for the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards 2025, one of India's most prestigious non-entertainment honors. The awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions across diverse sectors, shaping Maharashtra’s socio-economic and cultural landscape.

This year’s jury comprises leaders from politics, business, law, healthcare, arts, and sports, bringing a wealth of expertise to the selection process. Among them are Union Minister for Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal, Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, UIDAI Chairperson Neelkanth Mishra, and senior counsel at the Mumbai High Court Amit Desai. The panel also includes celebrated playback singer Shreya Ghoshal, actor Swwapnil Joshi, Dream11 CEO & Co-Founder Harsh Jain, and entrepreneur Ananya Birla.

Other esteemed jury members include Dr. Vijay Darda (Chairman, Lokmat Media Group), Manisha Mhaiskar (Additional Chief Secretary, Maharashtra), Milind Bharambe (Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai), Dr. Shripad Banavali (Director, Tata Memorial Hospital), Chetna Sinha (Founder, Mann Deshi Mahila Sahakari Bank), and Dr. Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil (Chairman, Ajeenkya D.Y. Patil Group).

The awards aim to honor exceptional contributions across governance, business, social impact, science & technology, arts, and sports, celebrating individuals who have driven positive change. The jury will assess nominees based on their impact, innovation, and commitment to Maharashtra’s progress.
