Integrated media communications agency MQ Media to be launched today

The launch event will be held in Goa

After two decades in journalism and PR, Misbah Qadri is stepping out with her own venture, MQ Media (MQM), which launches in Goa today, September 9, 2025.

“For twenty years in journalism and PR, I have seen the other side, the paid reviews, the packaged news, the hollow claims. I got sick of the noise. So, I am building something real,” says Qadri. “This agency is for the Indian brands that are actually slogging, creating something true, just like I have. No bullshit, no bloated budgets, just honest work for honest products.”

With MQM, her goal is to make media visibility transparent and accessible. “Everybody who’s doing some good work should get a voice, should have the right to participate, should be part of the stakeholders, should be able to make a difference. Right now, so much is artificially fabricated. The only way to break out of the noise is to create the right kind of narrative, switch to the right journalist, get the right publication, and get the true story,” she explains.

Qadri stresses that MQM is bootstrapped and independent. “I don’t have any investor backing me and I don’t intend to. That gives me creative and monetary freedom, the autonomy to explore narratives without pumping in the kind of budgets that the big ones do.”

“This is my contribution to an ecosystem I believe in,” she adds. “If you value substance over noise, come raise a glass with me as this dream turns real.”

The launch party will be held on September 9, 2025, from 6-8 PM at MQ Media, Morjim, Goa.
