As Rama Paul celebrates her birthday, her career reflects a steady rise through the ranks of India’s advertising and media ecosystem, backed by over three decades of experience across strategy, marketing and research.

Paul has held key leadership roles across organisations, most notably at ABP Network, where she served as Senior Vice President – Marketing & Strategy and was part of the management committee. During her tenure, she strengthened the network’s brand positioning and helped expand its regional footprint with launches such as ABP Asmita and ABP Ganga, along with southern market entries including ABP Nadu and ABP Desam.

Before ABP, she spent over a decade at Dabur India Ltd., heading media planning and investment, and has also worked with agencies such as Universal McCann, Mudra Communications and RK Swamy BBDO. Over the years, she has worked across brands including Samsung, Nestlé and Microsoft.

In 2023, Paul moved into entrepreneurship with the launch of Ninered, marking a shift from corporate leadership to building new-age marketing solutions.

Beyond her professional roles, she is associated with social initiatives, including her work with the Robin Hood Army and as a Non-Executive Director at Sandesh.

As the industry continues to evolve, Paul’s career tracks the transition from traditional media planning to integrated, strategy-led marketing leadership.
