On his birthday today, we celebrate Nishant Chaturvedi, a seasoned broadcast journalist whose career spans more than 23 years across some of India’s most prominent news networks. Currently serving as Sr Executive Editor at TV9 Bharatvarsh, Nishant has been an integral part of the channel since November 2019, leading its editorial operations with distinction.

Over the years, he has anchored and reported on several defining moments, including the Tsunami in Japan (2011), the 9/11 attacks, the Parliament attack in India (2001), and numerous Lok Sabha and state elections. His work has given him the opportunity to interview and interact with distinguished personalities and state leaders, while also taking him across India and abroad.

Before TV9 Bharatvarsh, Nishant held significant roles such as Executive Editor at Aaj Tak (2014-2019), Channel Head at News Express (2012-2014), and Executive Producer-Anchor at News24 (2012). His earlier years saw him contributing to India TV, Voice of India, Sahara News, Aaj Tak, Doordarshan News, and Zee News, steadily building a career marked by credibility, depth, and leadership.

Beyond anchoring and reporting, Nishant has also worked as a media planning consultant, specialising in media management, marketing, image building, and positioning. His wide-ranging skillset includes media strategy, event management, news production, organisational leadership, multitasking, and critical analysis, making him a multifaceted professional in the media industry.
