Senior journalist Shailesh Ranjan joins TV9 Bharatvarsh as Input Editor

TV9 Bharatvarsh has appointed senior journalist Shailesh Ranjan as the Input Editor of the channel.

Known in the media industry for his precise reporting and editorial expertise, Shailesh previously served as the Input Head (Video Department – News & Info) at Jagran New Media.

Shailesh Ranjan has worked with several prestigious media organizations throughout his career. Before joining Jagran New Media, he was the Editor at the digital startup ‘NeetiRiti.’ He had moved to this platform after leaving Zee News, where he worked for nearly 20 years. At Zee News, he held the position of Input Head and covered several major stories during his tenure.

Shailesh Ranjan began his journalism career in 1999 as a trainee with ‘Sahara Samay.’ After that, he worked as a correspondent with Doordarshan from 2000 to 2002. In February 2002, he joined Aaj Tak and served as a producer for about nine months. Later, in October 2002, he joined Zee News, where he contributed for over two decades.

Shailesh Ranjan holds extensive experience in legal reporting. Throughout his career, he has covered the Supreme Court and High Courts, demonstrating a deep understanding and analytical approach that earned him recognition in this field.

He pursued his journalism studies at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). With over 25 years of active involvement in journalism, he is known for his exceptional work and contribution to the media industry.
