Monika Rawal has joined Times Internet Limited (TIL) as the Consulting Editor: Events and Special Projects. In her new role, she will be responsible for creating new intellectual properties, curating high-impact events, and spearheading celebrity outreach initiatives.

This marks Rawal’s third stint with Times Internet, returning to the organisation after a decade. She previously held content roles at TIL between 2007–2009 and 2011–2015.

With a career spanning two decades across leading print and digital platforms, Rawal brings a wealth of experience in editorial leadership and event conceptualisation. Prior to rejoining TIL, she spent eight years at Hindustan Times (HT City) as the Senior Entertainment Editor. She then transitioned from content creation to work independently for a year, exploring opportunities in events consultancy and celebrity coordination.

During this period, she worked with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) as a Senior Consultant for the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), where she curated the Gala Premieres section and managed high-profile celebrity red carpet appearances.

Most recently, Rawal was instrumental in curating the inaugural edition of the Times of India’s Power Creator Awards 2025, building it from the ground up, from designing award categories to selecting nominees and assembling an eminent jury.

Over the course of her career, she has held senior editorial positions at Hindustan Times, Times of India, Dainik Bhaskar and Mid-Day, establishing herself as a versatile and innovative leader in media, events and celebrity engagement.
