GTPL Hathway reports Q1 FY18 PAT at Rs 14.8 crore, up 86% y-o-y

The year-over-year growth in standalone CATV total income stood at 25% for the quarter ended 30 June, 2017


GTPL Hathway Limited, one of the leading regional MSOs and broadband internet services providers, has reported a year-over-year growth in standalone CATV total income of 25% for the quarter ended 30 June, 2017 (Q1 FY18).

 

The company reported total revenue of Rs 178.2 crore, 25% more than the same quarter of the previous year. The CATV subscription revenue stood at Rs 90.3 crore which is 19% more than the same quarter of the previous year. It reported an 86% increase in profit y-o-y to Rs 14.8 crore.

 

The average CATV revenue per user (ARPU) as on June 30, 2017 for Phase 1, 2, 3 and 4 stood at Rs 100, Rs 95, Rs 54 and Rs 41, respectively.

The company’s two subsidiaries: GTPL Broadband Pvt Ltd and GTPL Kolkata Cable & Broadband Pariseva Ltd reported total revenue of Rs 31.8 crore (up 25% y-o-y) and Rs 32.5 crore (up 12% y-o-y), respectively.

 

Anirudh Singh Jadeja, Managing Director, GTPL Hathway said, “After posting 33 per cent growth in CATV subscription revenue and 77 per cent growth in broadband revenue in FY17, GTPL Hathway continued the growth momentum well into the first quarter of the fiscal 2018.
