According to the latest RAM data, Radio Mirchi continued to lead in the Mumbai market for the morning slot between 7 am and 11 am in Week 29. The FM station got a 19.5 per cent market share in Week 29, up from 17.9 per cent market share in the previous week. Red FM was placed second with a 15 per cent market share.

His has joined Grey Worldwide as Head of Creative, where he will be heading the agency’s creative department at its Gurgaon office, according to senior sources in the industry. He is expected to take charge from today.
KM Mathew, Chief Editor of Malayala Manorama, passed away in Kottayam on August 1, 2010. He was 93. Mathew is survived by sons Mammen Mathew, Editor, Malayala Manorama; Philip Mathew, Managing Editor; and Jacob Mathew, Executive Editor. Born on January 2, 1917, Mathew had joined the organisation as Managing Editor in 1954 and became Chief Editor in 1973.
I did begin writing it as ‘KBC4’, but I recollected a recent conversation with Ajit Thakur, Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television, who had corrected me and said, ‘it is the new KBC’. So, new KBC it is. Sony is very excited with the property at hand, any channel would be. But the first million dollar question is will Big B repeat his magic of KBC with the new KBC? The recently concluded AdFest 2010 has brought much cheer to the Indian advertising industry by way of international awards. The awards have also given a boost to Indian creatives. The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) completed its annual general meeting on July 30, 2010, and with it, the hotly contested AAAI President’s elections. For the AAAI, the election process itself was full of action, punctuated with heated discussions. But those who thought that all ended with the election, think again. Sandeep Goyal is not giving up yet. Goyal has been advised legal action against AAAI for “rigging of the elections”.
