Publicis Groupe's CCO Nick Law to join Apple
Law is set to exit Publicis after just over a year with the company to take up an unspecified role at Apple
According to reports, Publicis Groupe's Chief Creative Officer Nick Law is set to depart after just over a year with the company to join Apple in September. Law's new role at Apple is still not specified. The news of Law's departure was confirmed by Publicis' Chairman and CEO, Arthur Sadoun. It is not yet clear who will be replacing Law.
It has been reported that Sadoun, commenting on Law's departure in a memo said, "It’s ‘sweet’ news because of course you only ever want what is best for your friends, and Nick sees this as a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’ for him. But of course, we would have loved to have Nick with us forever."
Sadoun emphasized that Publicis had "considerably strengthened our creative and strategic bench" during Law’s tenure. Adding, "I want to take this moment to thank Nick for all of that, and just as importantly, for bringing to the entire management team and the group creative community a vision and an ambition for modern creativity."
Confirming his exit from Publicis in a note, Law said, "This was a very hard decision for me. Not only have I enjoyed my time at Publicis, I’ve been energized by the ambition and relentless transformation of the Groupe. Publicis has the right plan, right model and the right people to solve the big challenges clients are facing. I wish I could continue to be a part of the journey – but the once in a lifetime opportunity to work with a brand I’ve admired my whole life was too good to ignore".
Nick Law was appointed Chief Creative Officer of Publicis in January 2018 after spending 17 years at Interpublic's R/GA.For more updates, be socially connected with us on
