Netflix has named Bozoma Saint John as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to the appointment, Saint John was CMO at the entertainment agency Endeavor. She replaces Jackie Lee-Joe and is the third person to be appointed as Netflix CMO in less than a year.

She was the Chief Brand Officer for Uber and the head of global consumer marketing for iTunes and Apple Music. Between 2011 and 2014, Saint John also spearheaded Music and Entertainment Marketing for Pepsico.

Saint John's appointment comes at a time when most organisations are overhauling all levels of leadership to be more inclusive in the wake of the George Floyd incident and subsequent rise of Black Lives Matter protests.
