FCB Ulka has roped in senior brand consultant Kizie Basu as Head, Strategic Planning for Horlicks, highly-placed sources have shared with exchange4media.
Prior to this, Basu has worked in education start-ups and was running a consultancy for lifestyle, foods and premium brands.
She was also associated with Unilever Singapore as CMI Head for Foods and Personal Care, and IMRB as a researcher.
Basu has worked with the brand as Global Head of Consumer Insights, Closeup Care Asia Consumer Insights (China, India, SEA). She was part of the Global Brand leadership team, heading a team of six in Insights globally for brand Closeup in Asia, Latin America and Africa, and for Regional Oral Care in Asia.
Basu also led the strategic repositioning of global brand Closeup and has worked with HUL as Senior Consumer Insights Manager – Foods—where she was responsible for leading consumer insights and innovation for South Asia Savoury — Knorr and Functional foods Innovation – Global.
She has over 14 years of demonstrated customer insights experience across global brands and is a brand and insights specialist with an MBA from MICA.
