WPP's Mindshare retains Diageo Media mandate in India post global review

Dentsu Aegis Network will handle media in North America, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia while Mindshare from the WPP umbrella will continue to handle media duties for India. Mediavest from Publicis Group will handle Diageo’s media duties in Australia

WPP's Mindshare retains Diageo Media mandate in India post global review

As reported by exchange4media earlier Spirits Diageo had initiated a global review for its media duties in May this year .

The account size is estimated to be upwards of $2 billion.

On the back of this global review, Dentsu Aegis Network will handle media in North America, Europe, Latin America and Southeast Asia while Mindshare from the WPP umbrella will continue to handle media duties for India.

Mediavest from Publicis Group will handle Diageo’s media duties in Australia.

Some of Diageo’s popular brands include Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Guinness.
