Taproot launches new division SquareRoot Design

In a step to further strengthen its presence with a focus on design, Taproot India has launched a new division SquareRoot Design.
Interestingly before the formal launch, over the last few months of undercover existence; SquareRoot Design has already worked on brands such as PepsiCo to launch Atom, Marico for Set Wet Deos and Gels, Kik Cola for Sri Lanka and Sanjeev Kapoor’s range of Khazana products.
Sammer Asth, who recently joined Taproot India as Head of Business and strategy, will be involved in SquareRoot Design as well, where he will be leveraging his past experience of time spent in design houses.
The new division will be fronted by Santosh Padhi and Agnello Dias, along with Asth who will take care of the strategy.
Taproot India is looked upon as one the most promising small agencies today. The agency has been toying with the idea of a new design division since the past one year now. Only when the core team felt ready, after having taken a good amount of design projects and clients on board, did they announce the formal launch. The agency believes it now has the right combination of right people and strategy required for the initiative.
