Publicis Capital wins Subway India business
Subway India has awarded its creative business to Publicis Capital post a multi-agency pitch. The account size is in the range of Rs 25 cr – Rs 30 cr
Subway India has awarded its creative business to Publicis Capital. In a pitch last month, Subway had shortlisted Publicis, McCann, Dentsu, Rediffusion and Saatchi & Saatchi for the final round. Publicis Capital won the final round and was awarded the business which is in the range of Rs 25 crore – Rs 35 crore.
Sanjiv Pande, Marketing Manager, Subway said, “Over the course of past few meetings, Publicis team has demonstrated a good understanding of the Subway brand personality and business strategy in the market. In the current competitive scenario, creating a differentiation within its category is the need of the hour for the brand, where we see Publicis working in close partnership with us to help achieve the business and brand objectives.”

Subway opened its very first restaurant in 2001 in New Delhi and has swiftly grown its operations to 330 operating restaurants in 65 cities across India.
