Atul Sharma steps down as CEO, Ruder Finn India and Head - Middle East

A leading PR and communications leader, Atul Sharma has stepped down from his role as CEO, Ruder Finn India and Head - Middle East, bringing to a close a tenure of over seven years with the global communications firm.

Sharma joined Ruder Finn in 2018 as Managing Director and Vice President and went on to play a pivotal role in strengthening the firm’s footprint across India and the Middle East. With more than two decades of experience in the PR and communications industry, his career spans diverse sectors including technology, aviation, retail and consumer, with work that has transcended geographies and markets. Under his leadership, Ruder Finn India witnessed significant growth, deepened client partnerships and enhanced its strategic positioning in a highly competitive market.

Commenting on his departure, Sharma expressed, "It has been an absolute honor to lead and build the Ruder Finn group in India and the Middle East. Full of gratitude for the RF global leadership team for bringing me on board, as well as every employee and client who chose RF in such a hyper-competitive environment. Super excited to see the team being led by Shivaram, who I am certain will continue to build on the successes."

Kathy Bloomgarden, CEO, Ruder Finn, also acknowledged Sharma’s contribution, saying, "I’d like to extend my thanks to Atul for his contributions to Ruder Finn, for his leadership in driving our business and our teams. I wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
