Gayatri Rath, International Markets Communications & Brand Lead at GE Aerospace, has announced her departure from the company after a five-year tenure.

Rath shared the update via a LinkedIn post, noting that she will be stepping down this week. “After five incredible years, I will leave GE/GE Aerospace this week. I hadn’t planned to come back for a second stint, but I'm grateful for the additional time here,” she wrote.

During her tenure, Rath played a key role in shaping communications and brand strategy for international markets. She was closely involved in one of the most significant phases in GE’s history including the restructuring of the conglomerate into three independent entities: GE Aerospace, GE Vernova, and GE HealthCare.

A ‘boomerang’ employee, Rath returned to GE in 2021 and went on to lead several high-impact branding initiatives, including a campaign commemorating 120 years of GE’s presence in India. She also served on the Corporate Affairs senior leadership team of GE Aerospace from August 2023 to May 2026.

With over 25 years of experience across corporate communications, branding, marketing, and public relations, Rath has worked with more than 20 Asian and global brands. Her portfolio includes work with major technology and industrial companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, and GE.

Rath’s next move has not yet been disclosed.
