Yes Bank has appointed S. Anantharaman as Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Anantharaman will lead the Bank's enterprise-wide risk framework, overseeing Credit Policy, Operational & Enterprise Risk, Market Risk, Information Security, Model Governance, Data Analytics, Data Privacy & Protection.
Anantharaman joins Yes Bank from Jio Financial Services where he served as Group CRO. At Jio Financial Services he built the group-wide risk management architecture from the ground up across lending, payments, insurance broking, and asset management.
Prior to that, Anantharaman served as CRO at Bank of Baroda. He has also held senior leadership roles at HDFC Bank and L&T Finance Holdings.
Anantharaman brings over three decades of experience in banking and financial services space. His experience spans risk management, credit strategy, portfolio quality, fraud controls, and governance in large-scale financial institutions.
