UNIBIC Foods has appointed Ajay Bathija as its Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, he will lead the company’s growth strategy, drive expansion in India and overseas markets, and work on strengthening the brand’s position in the competitive packaged foods segment.

Ajay brings over 20 years of experience in the FMCG and beverages industry. He spent more than 18 years with The Coca-Cola Company, where he handled several leadership roles. During his time there, he managed marketing for juice and cola categories, led brand strategy across India and Southwest Asia, and worked on growing the business in markets like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives. He also served as Managing Director for Coca-Cola Bangladesh.

Sandeep Reddy, Chairman of UNIBIC Foods, said the company is excited to welcome Ajay at an important stage of its growth. He added that Ajay’s experience in brand building and consumer marketing will help the company expand further and achieve new milestones in innovation and market reach.
