Deepak Thakur has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hinduja Group's Hinduja Renewables Energy. He will officially assume the role from October 1, 2025.
Thakur brings more than 30 years of experience across industries including renewable energy, infrastructure, industrial products, and electronics. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at organisations such as the Mahindra Group, Reliance, Sterling & Wilson, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Honeywell, and Thermax.
He succeeds Sumit Pandey, who has been leading Hinduja Renewables Energy.
Welcoming Thakur to the company, Shom Hinduja, Chairman of Hinduja Renewables Energy, said his extensive industry experience and leadership capabilities will support the company's long-term vision of becoming a leading player in the renewable energy sector. He also thanked Sumit Pandey for his contribution in laying the foundation for the business and wished him success in his future endeavours.
