Tata Communications has announced the appointment of Siddhartha Mundra as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
He will join the company as CFO-Designate on February 23, 2026, and will officially take charge as Chief Financial Officer from May 1, 2026.
Siddhartha brings more than 22 years of experience across corporate finance, business strategy, operations, private equity, and technology. He currently serves as Vice President in the Group CFO & Group Strategy Office at Tata Sons, a position he has held since December 2020. Earlier in his career, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Shankara Building Products Limited.
Commenting on the appointment, A S Lakshminarayanan, Managing Director & CEO of Tata Communications, said that Siddhartha’s wide-ranging experience and strong leadership background will add significant value to the company as it continues its transformation journey and focuses on long-term growth.
Siddhartha said he is pleased to join Tata Communications and looks forward to working closely with the leadership team. He added that his priority will be to support the company’s strategic goals, strengthen its financial position, and contribute to its continued success.
