Standard Chartered names Peter Burrill as Interim Group CFO

Standard Chartered PLC has appointed Peter Burrill as the Interim Group Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Diego De Giorgi who moves on as Executive Director and GCFO.
Pete will be based in London and report directly to the Group Chief Executive, Bill Winters.
Pete is currently Group Head, Central Finance and Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to joining Standard Chartered in 2017, Pete was with Deutsche Bank as Group Controller and Co-Head of Group Finance.
He started his career at KPMG spending 20 years there.

He likewise provides valuable continuity to the leadership of our finance function and takes on the position as a well-regarded member of our global leadership team.
