Jill Hazelbaker has been appointed as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at OpenAI, responsible for global communications and corporate positioning.
She will collaborate with OpenAI leaders to enhance public understanding of AI and build trust in the organization's mission.
Hazelbaker has nearly 20 years of experience in advising technology companies and political leaders, including her recent role at Uber as President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.

Jill Hazelbaker will join OpenAI as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, leading the company’s global communications and corporate positioning.

Jill will work closely with leaders across OpenAI to deepen public understanding of AI and strengthen trust in its mission. She brings nearly two decades of experience advising technology companies and political leaders, helping them navigate periods of extraordinary growth and some of their most consequential challenges.

Most recently, Jill served as President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Uber, where she helped lead the company’s transformation from an ambitious startup into one of the world’s largest global technology platforms.
