Raymond Ltd has announced the resignation of Nawaz Modi Singhania as Director on the Board of the Company. The resignation is effective March 19, 2025.
In her exit mail, Singhania wrote, “Due to personal reasons, I hereby tender my resignation as Director of Raymond Limited with immediate effect. I am thankful to the Board of Directors for the memorable association during my tenure and supporting me throughout my term.”
Nawaz is a professional fitness trainer who manages a gym in south Mumbai. She recently authored a book named 'Pause, Rewind: Natural Anti-Ageing Techniques'.
Her Instagram handle, with over 2.9 lakh followers, describes Nawaz as a writer, leading media columnist, radio and TV presenter.
Commenting on her resignation, Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, Raymond Ltd, “We thank Ms Nawaz Modi Singhania for her services as a board member over the years. As a company, we are committed to upholding the highest level of governance while continuing to navigate the evolving landscape of the industry.”
Nawaz is Gautam Singhania’s ex-wife. After 32 years of marriage, Gautam had publicly announced his separation on X in 2023.
