Madison Media, part of Madison World, has strengthened its leadership team in the North and East regions by hiring senior professionals across digital and integrated media roles.

Vishal Kumar has joined the company as Vice President – Digital Business, North & East. In this role, he will lead digital growth initiatives in the region. He will work closely with Vivek Das, Chief Digital Officer, Madison Media, and Mimi Deb, COO, Madison Media Plus.

Vishal brings more than 18 years of experience in marketing, media, and digital transformation. He is an alumnus of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. Earlier in his career, he spent around eight and a half years with GroupM/WPP, where he led the digital practice for Wavemaker North. During that time, he delivered strong business results and received recognition at industry platforms such as Emvies and Goafest.

More recently, Vishal founded LeapX.ai, a startup recognized by NASSCOM for building AI-powered solutions for paid digital advertising. This experience strengthened his knowledge of technology, data, and performance marketing.

Along with Vishal’s appointment, Madison Media has added two more senior leaders to its North & East team.

Ambica Chaudhary has joined as Deputy General Manager – Integrated Media. She has over 15 years of experience with leading global agencies, including Starcom (Publicis Groupe), Wavemaker (WPP), and PHD (Omnicom Media Group). Ambica has handled integrated media planning for major brands across sectors such as consumer goods, smartphones, luxury fashion, mobility, and life sciences. She also managed Unilever’s media responsibilities in the North American market. In her new role, she will focus on delivering strong, client-focused integrated media solutions in the region.

Akanksha Panwar has been appointed as Deputy General Manager – Digital Business. She has more than 15 years of experience in software engineering, IT, and digital advertising. Akanksha holds an MBA from the University of Nottingham. She has worked with WPP Media for the past six years on major accounts and previously held leadership roles at Dentsu Media. She is known for building full-funnel digital strategies across categories such as consumer goods, electronics, fashion, and health insurance. Her work has been recognized at platforms including EMVIES and other digital marketing awards.

Speaking about his return, Vishal said he is excited to rejoin Madison at a time when the company is reshaping its future through its “Madison 3.0” vision. He added that his recent experience in AI and performance marketing will help drive digital growth and build advanced technology and data capabilities in the North and East markets.

Mimi Deb, COO of Madison Media North & East, said that Vishal’s strong background in data and technology will play a key role in the company’s growth plans. She added that Ambica’s global experience and Akanksha’s digital expertise will further strengthen the regional leadership team. Together, they will support the company’s expansion strategy under Madison 3.0.

Vivek Das, Chief Digital Officer of Madison Media, said the new appointments reflect the company’s focus on digital-led growth in the North and East regions. He highlighted that Vishal’s mix of agency experience and AI entrepreneurship makes him well suited to lead the next phase of growth. He also noted that Ambica’s integrated media knowledge and Akanksha’s digital expertise will help deliver stronger and more innovative solutions for clients.

With these appointments, Madison Media aims to further boost its digital and integrated media capabilities and accelerate growth in the North and East markets.
