Garima Arora has been elevated to the role of Director, Data Scientist at Mastercard. She shared the news on LinkedIn, saying, “It’s been an incredible journey and I’m looking forward to taking on these new challenges and continuing to grow within the organization. Onward and upward!”
Arora joined Mastercard as an AI Specialist Intern and subsequently progressed through various senior positions, most recently serving as Manager, Data Scientist in the AI Research and Product Development Team. In this capacity, she specialised in statistics, deep learning, and computer science, and worked extensively with the Fraud and Compliance Team to develop intelligent solutions aimed at enhancing payment security.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Arora worked as a Full Stack Developer at thesqua.re serviced apartments. She also launched an entrepreneurial venture offering a technology-enabled hygiene platform in India and Europe, reaching over 50,000 users.
