Flipkart’s Chief Product and Technology Officer has stepped down, according to media reports. The news was reportedly announced through an internal memo by CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy.
Prior to Flipkart, Venugopal was the CTO at Myntra, leading tech, IT and infrastructure teams at the company.
He started his career with Amazon, Seattle as a software engineer, going on the build and manage several e-comm backend systems. He moved to India as a founding member of Amazon’s India Development Centre at Bangalore.
Venugopal also worked with Yahoo's India R&D center and helped establish the Search Engineering. He was the Founder and CEO of a digital healthcare startup (EClinic 24/7).
