Erik Rogstad, Managing Partner at AKQA, has decided to move on from the organisation after nearly 25 years. Erik took to LinkedIn and shared the news of his departure.

“The post I never imagined writing: After nearly 25 years, I’m officially out of AKQA. I’ve always been fond of telling our employees, “I want this to be the last job you ever have.” It was a sincere hope, and one my leadership teams and I consistently strived to deliver towards, everyday. Working to challenge, support, empower, and recognize our teams in ways that fostered not only inspiring work, but built camaraderie and careers”, he said in his LinkedIn post.

“It’s humbling looking back on all we achieved, yet after 25 years the true accomplishment of what we built stands clear. It’s the amazing group of people who joined this journey and anchored in alongside us. What an honor to have worked with such an incredibly talented and caring team. Collectively we built a culture that chose to care for people above profit, with the understanding it would lead to long-term success. A studio where standards of excellence for thought, quality, and service were incredibly high, yet we all strove to push beyond them — for each other. And an environment where it remains impossible to use “I” instead of “we” because we know none of this is possible without each other”, he added.

Erik Rogstad joined AKQA in April 2000 as Director of Content Development and went on to take several leadership roles at the company.
