exchange4media has learned from reliable sources that Dhruv Dhawan will be joining The Trade Desk as Vice President-Revenue.
Dhawan’s last role was Head of Ads at Disney+ Hotstar (which has since merged with JioCinema to form JioStar). At The Trade Desk, Dhawan’s will be primarily a revenue role which will see him concentrate on the Demand Side Platform’s growth opportunities even as he will work to consolidate existing relationships as well as forge new partnerships.
Working with top advertisers and agencies, Dhawan will lead the business side of the company and spearhead profitability and growth. Dhawan comes to his new role with a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of marketing, revenue growth, and business development.
Over the course of his 23 years of experience, Dhawan has worked with some of the leading brands in the media and technology domains and has handled a diverse portfolio. This has included nine years at Google in a range of roles as well as stints at Bharti Airtel and Accenture.
