After spending four years at L’Oreal, Charuta Ambardekar Saoji has joined Viacom18 as the Head of Marketing and Vice President at Colors channel.
With an extensive background in consumer marketing across some of the industry's leading FMCG brands, Saoji brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
Posting it on her LinkedIn, Saoji wrote, “After a fabulous 4 years, the time has come to move on from L'Oréal. It was an incredible privilege to have been a core part of L’Oréal Paris' and Garnier's stellar market-beating growth journeys. A dozen launches, a load of wins and so many learnings for eternity. And above all, it was an absolute honor to have worked with some of the brightest and the warmest people.
“As I move on to my next adventure, I hope I retain the obsession with beauty in everything I do, stay ahead of the curve on consumer trends and forever find newer ways to engage. Bonne chance! Au revoir!”
From December 2020 to March 2024, she served as AGM Marketing at L’Oreal Paris followed by the role of AGM Marketing for Garnier from April 2024, before she decided to move on.
Prior to this, she was with Unilever for eight years from January 2013 to December 2020 where she took on multiple roles of Brand Manager, Regional Senior Brand Manager and Marketing Manager before joining L’Oreal.
She has worked across FMCG Giants like Reckitt Benckiser, Heinz, Unilever and L'Oreal in roles spanning the length and breadth of consumer marketing- from strategy to deployment, from designing packaging to managing P&L, from creating advertisements to deploying media, from growing brands to growing businesses.
