Blue Dart Express has announced the resignation of its Chairman and Independent Director Prakash Apte, citing health concerns. According to the company’s regulatory filings, Apte exit was effective after the conclusion of the board meeting on April 13.
“The Board, at its Meeting held today, approved the reconstitution of other Committees of the Board consequent to resignation of Mr. Prakash Apte, NonExecutive Chairman and Independent Director, with effect from the close of business hours on April 13, 2026”, the stock exchange filing stated.
Prakash Apte is a seasoned leader with over four decades of experience across the chemicals, pharmaceutical, and agriculture sectors. During his career, he has held key roles at Ciba Geigy, Novartis, and Syngenta.
