Uber has appointed Arpit Tyagi as Head of Advertising for India. Tyagi announced the move in a LinkedIn post.
Talking about his new role, he shared, “I'm looking forward to working with our partners across brands, agencies and merchants to help them unlock new opportunities for growth through Uber's advertising platform.”
“Uber Advertising sits at the intersection of people's everyday movements and decisions. Whether someone is commuting to work, heading to the airport, or exploring a new city, these moments create unique opportunities for brands to connect with consumers in relevant, contextual and measurable ways,” he wrote.
Before joining Uber, Tyagi served as Director - Client Services at The Trade Desk. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years at Amazon, where his last role was Head - Agency Business, Amazon Ads.
Earlier in his career, Tyagi held roles at Pernod Ricard, Samsung Electronics and VIP Industries.
