Ankit Gupta has joined Zydus Wellness as Category Lead (P&L). He will oversee the company’s sweeteners business, including brands such as Sugar Free, SugarLite and Sugar Free D’lite.
Gupta announced the move in a LinkedIn post, stating, “I’m thrilled to be joining Zydus Wellness to lead their sweeteners portfolio - one of India’s most iconic health brands with a legacy worth protecting and a future worth building.”
Gupta joins Zydus Wellness after nearly four years at Marico Limited, where he most recently served as Group Product Marketing Head for Foods. “A note of gratitude to Marico - particularly the Saffola team. What we built together shaped how I think about brands, consumers, and what marketing can really do. Thank you for the years,” he said.
With over 14 years in the FMCG industry, Gupta has worked across the foods and beverages sector, leading categories, managing business performance and overseeing sales operations. His career includes stints at Tata Consumer Products and MTR Foods Private Limited.
