#e4mBreaking:  Sambit Mohanty joins YAAP as Group CCO

After moving on from his expanded role at McCann, Sambit Mohanty now joins YAAP as Group Chief Creative Officer. YAAP is a new-age digital marketing, content & technology services company, operating in the fast-growing segment of the marketing and creator economy market and is led by founder Atul Hegde.

Speaking on his appointment, Mohanty said: "The traditional boundaries between advertising, content, social media, creators and technology no longer exist. Mohanty was last at McCann, having ended a tenure that saw him take on expanded leadership responsibilities at the agency’s Bengaluru office. In May 2025, Mohanty was appointed Business Leader and Creative Head of McCann Bengaluru, overseeing both commercial and creative operations. The move reflected the agency’s confidence in his strategic and creative leadership capabilities.
