Abhijit Bhattacharya will join Unilever Ice Cream as Chief Financial Officer. Bhattacharya’s stint will start December 1, 2024.
The news was shared by Peter ter Kulve in a LinkedIn post.
Abhijit has an impressive 38-year career, most recently serving as CFO and Board Member at Royal Philips N.V. since 2015. He chaired the separation project at Philips, successfully creating two stand-alone companies. This proven leadership will be of great value in establishing a world-leading stand-alone Pure Play Ice Cream business, shared Kulve.
He will be taking over from Anita Bhat-Zutshi, who held the role for two years.
