Billboard of the week: Idea’s Honey Bunny campaign

Indian brands over the last one year are creating impressive impressions through their advertising gimmicks. From catchy tunes to hard hitting television campaigns to engaging digital activities, brands have gone ahead to try their hand at all of these. One such brand that has been effective is Idea Cellular.

While Idea Cellular’s Honey Bunny tune – that is still running on television – has already created mass effectiveness, the brand has gone ahead and touched other medium to generate recall. Varun Jain, Co Founder, En Route Media believes that Idea’s latest Honey Bunny outdoor initiative is impressive and worth a look.

The only reason Honey Bunny stood out is because the media planning was great and it successfully created a buzz for the brand. The outdoor aspect was simply a reminder medium here. I mainly remember the different cities that they have been shown in the form of the network signal. This is also how Honey Bunny is represented.
