Zee Anmol leads rural and overall market: BARC Week 51
Star Plus retains leadership position in urban market
Zee Anmol continued to be the leader in the overall market with 764 million impressions, followed by Star Plus on the second slot with 726 million impressions and Zee TV on the third with 714 million impressions, according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India Week 51 data.
In the top five programme category, Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ bagged the first slot with 15.0 million impressions, followed by Colors’ ‘Naagin3’ and Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on number two and three with 13.0 and 11.4 million impressions, respectively. Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ bagged fourth spot with 10.6 million impressions and Star Bharat’s ‘Radhakrishn’ stood on the fifth spot with 10.4 million impressions.
Hindi GEC Urban
Star Plus retained its leadership position this week as well with 508 million impressions. It was followed by Zee TV on the second slot with 435 million impressions and Colors on the third slot with 382 million impressions. Sony Entertainment Television and Star Bharat stood at number four and five with 368 million impressions and 341 million impressions, respectively.
‘Naagin-3’ bagged the leadership position with 8.4 million impressions followed by Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ on the second position with 7.3 million impressions and Sab TV’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ on the third with 6.7 million impressions. Star Plus’ ‘Kulfi Kumar Bajewala’ and Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ bagged fourth and fifth spots with 6.627 million impressions and 6.623 million impressions respectively.
Hindi GEC Rural
Zee Anmol too continued to lead the rural market with 620 million impressions, followed by Star Utsav on the second spot with 366 million impressions and Sony Pal on the third with 363 million impressions. Dangal TV and Star Bharat stood on the fourth and fifth positions with 348 million and 343 million impressions, respectively.
Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ continued to lead the list of top five programmes with 12.5 million impressions, followed by Dangal TV’s ‘Ramayan’ on second slot with 7.5 million impressions and Zee Anmol’s Ek Main Aur Ek Tu stood on three with 6.9 million impressions. Sony Pal’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ and Mahek on Zee Anmol bagged fourth and fifth spots with 6.5 million and 6.3 million impressions, respectively.
