Star Sports gears up for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 with telecast of warm-up matches

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is upon us and with world’s 10 best cricketing countries warming up to battle it out to be crowned as Cricket’s champions, Star Sports - India’s leading sports broadcaster and Home of Cricket, has announced the telecast of all the warm-up games leading up to the mega event.

Starting Friday, May 24th the top ten teams battle it out to emerge as the ICC Cricket World Cup champions by playing two warm-up games each. As a run up to the tournament Team India will play against New Zealand and Bangladesh in the warm up matches.

Committed to bringing the best of sporting action to fans with world-class production & broadcast of games, innovative programming and curated customised feeds, Star Sports network will telecast the warm-up games in English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, and Malayalam.

Core cricket fans can stay ahead of the game with Star Sports Select Dugout – a bespoke experience using graphics and augmented reality (AR), video based commentary, live demos from cricket experts and deeper fan engagement with responses by experts to Tweets from cricketing enthusiasts.

The broadcast for all the warm-up games for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will begin as per the below schedule:

Star Sports 1 + Star Sports 1 Hindi – with Cricket Live at 1:30 pm

Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Kannada – 2 pm

Star Sports 1 Bangla – 2:30 pm

Star Sports Select 1 – 2:50 pm
