Star Plus leads in urban market, Rishtey leads rural: BARC Week 4 ratings
Star Plus continued to maintain its leadership position in the urban market with 467 mn impressions, while Rishtey led the rural market with 322 mn impressions, according to BARC data for week 4 (January 21-27)
According to BARC data for week 4 (January 21-27), Star Plus continued to maintain its leadership position in the urban market, followed by Colors and Sony Entertainment.
Rishtey continued to rule the rural market with 322 million impressions.
Also, Star Plus took the first spot collectively by fetching 660 million impressions followed by Colors (640 million impressions) at second spot and Rishtey (435 million impressions) at the third spot.
Star Plus continued to lead BARC’s urban market ratings with improved 467 million impressions compared to 444 million impressions in the previous week.
Colors retained its second spot with 443 million impressions as against its 432 million impressions it fetched the previous week.
Sony Entertainment Television held on to its third spot with 300 million impressions as against its 286 million impressions in week 3 of 2017.
Zee TV maintained its fourth spot fetching 257 million impressions compared to its 252 million impressions in week 3.
Sony SAB again stood at fifth spot with 249 million impressions compared to week 3’s 250 million impressions.
Rishtey led the rural market with 322 million impressions.
Star Utsav maintained its second spot with 282 million impressions, as against its 304 million impressions it fetched in week 2.
Zee Anmol climbed to third spot with 271 million impressions as against its 249 million impressions it fetched in week 3.
Even Sony Pal moved up to fourth spot managing 251 million impressions compared to third week’s 249 million impressions.
DD National slipped to fifth spot with 219 million impressions.
