Star Bharat regains top position in overall market: BARC week 13

Sony Entertainment Television jumps to third position from last week's fifth spot in Urban market

Star Bharat replaced Zee Anmol at the leadership position in week 13 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India data. The channel garnered first position with 748554 Impressions (000s) followed by Zee Anmol on second slot with 737113 Impressions (000s) and Sony Pal on third spot with 707481 Impressions (000s).

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya bagged first position in top five programme list with 12792 impressions (000s) followed by Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya on second spot with 11078 Impressions (000s) and Sony Entertainment Television’s Super Dancer Chapter 2 on third with 9806 Impressions (000s). Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and Sony Pal CID bagged fourth and fifth slot with 9243 Impressions (000s) and 9049 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Hindi GEC Urban

Colors continued to lead the Urban market with 389161 Impressions (000s) followed by Star Bharat on second spot with 362491 Impressions (000s) and Sony Entertainment Television on third spot with 361152 Impressions (000s). Star Plus and Zee TV bagged fourth and fifth spot with 339637 Impressions (000s) and 316212 Impressions (000s) respectively.

Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya bagged the first slot in top five programme list this week with 6901 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Entertainment Television’s Super Dancer Chapter 2 on second slot with 6632 Impressions (000s) and Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya on third position with 5845 Impressions (000s). Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Sab TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma bagged fourth and fifth slot with 5761 Impressions (000s) and 5703 Impressions (000s)

Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to dominate the market with 571406 impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal on second slot with 482037 impressions (000s) and Star Utsav on third with 443027 Impressions (000s). Star Bharat and Rishtey stood on fourth and fifth slot with 386062 impressions (000s) and 320269 impressions (000s) respectively.

Kumkum Bhagya on Zee Anmol garnered the first position with 10607 Impressions (000s) followed by Sony Pal CID and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma on second and third positions with 6168 and 5963 impressions (000s) respectively. Zee Anmol’s Jamai Raja and Ganga stood at number four and five with 5840 Impressions (000s) and 5596 Impressions (000s) respectively.
