Sony reclaims fourth position in Week 33; Star Plus retains top spot

Week 33 saw Sony Entertainment Television climbing back to the fourth position after a gap of two weeks. As per the ratings data for the HSM market (CS4+) sourced from TAM subscribers, Star Plus retained its leadership position in Week 33 with gross TVT of 490 million. The relative share of the channel stood at 20.91 per cent. The channel had recorded 506 million TVT in Week 32.
Colors captured the second spot, recording gross TVT of 456 million and relative share of 19.49 per cent (438 million in Week 32). This was an increase of 19 million TVTs over the previous week.
Zee TV recorded gross TVT of 416 million and 17.74 per cent of relative share. The channel had secured 424 million TVTs in Week 32.
Sony gained too, reclaiming the fourth position with TVT of 349 million and relative share of 14.92 per cent. The channel had recorded TVT of 301 million in Week 32, thus gaining 48 million TVTs.
Life OK garnered gross TVT of 303 million as against last week’s 316 million TVTs. The channel’s relative share stood at 12.96 per cent in Week 33.
SAB TV was placed sixth with 293 million TVTs and 12.53 per cent relative share. The channel had recorded 298 million TVTs last week.
